“Old cottage and terrible mattress. AC very old and noisy.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is some train noise but we didn’t hear it after 11 pm so it didn’t bother us or disturb our sleep. Breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend!”

“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”

I must have missed in the property description that the only means of heat was a wood burning stove. This wasn’t a big issue as I grew up with one, but it had gone out before I realized that it was our heat source and I had to restart it and keep it stoked. Once we realized this there……

“10/10. Had the perfect experience. The host family was very responsive when we first checked in. The bed is very comfortable and they have everything you could need for your stay. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped- but you do have to go a few steps away for use. At night- they do a great job of keeping it well lit for navigation. I was a little nervous about coming in the first of March due to the cold, but the room has a propane fireplace that heats up quick. I think it also helped with……

“This place is cozy and fun. The bed is absolutely amazing, so comfortable! The fenced in yard is great for pets. The entrance is around the back of Peoples Bank, which gives a little more privacy from the main road. ”
